Trudy Curtis Curtigan
Wife of Honorable Thomas Currigan, the thirty-ninth Mayor of Denver. First Lady of Denver from 1963-1968.

Personal
She was born in Woodstock, Illinois in March 1919, and died in Aurora, Colorado on June 27, 1999, Aurora, Colorado (Age 80). The location of her final resting place is unknown.

Family
The Currigans had two children when Mayor Currigan was first elected. They were married in 1942. Sometime after Mayor Currigan resigned during his second term, he divorced Mrs. Currigan. He remarried several years later in 1975.

Of Note
There are well-documented reports of the family being first-hand witnesses to the historic Denver floods in 1965 during the Mayor’s first term. There was also an article that made the national news of Mrs. Currigan actually making an appointment to see the then new Mayor through his scheduler.
