Five Spouses of past and current Denver Mayors will be honored in a historic event at Denver’s Cableland on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  The significant service of these five Spouses to the respective Mayors and to our great City of Denver spans five decades back to 1983. 

Cableland, the Official Residence of the Mayor of Denver, has a historic installation – the Mayor’s Walk of History, with a plaque honoring each of the forty-five past and current Denver Mayors along with a short biography and photo of each Mayor.    

At the June 20, 2023 event, a new historic installation will be unveiled that evening, which will include a plaque, biography, and photo (where available) of each of the forty-two Denver First Mayoral Spouses.  This project has been in the planning stages for several years now and has finally been completed.  A keepsake booklet of each of the Mayoral First Spousal Plaques will be released that evening as well as will a commemorative coin minted specifically in honor of this event.  Each of these five past First Spouses will be in attendance and will be honored that evening as well. This will be the first time that these five First Spouses have appeared in one location for a public audience. 

The event is hosted by the Cableland Home Foundation. It would be our honor and privilege for you to join us that evening. There is no charge to attend reservations are required. This invitation is not transferable.
