Mollie Cooke Wright
Wife of Honorable Robert R. Wright, the twenty-fifth Mayor of Denver. First Lady of Denver from 1901-1904.
Her Story
Personal
Wright was born in New Jersey, July 21, 1845 and died in Atlanta, Georgia, June 23, 1922 (Age 76). She peacefully resides in Woodland Dell Cemetery in Wilbraham, Massachusetts.

Family
Mayor and Mrs. Wright’s daughter Roberta christened the cruiser, the USS Denver in 1902 in Philadelphia.

Of Note
The family had a clothing store and a large tailoring business too. The Mayor and his family were also involved in the Gentlemen’s Riding and Driving Club in Denver, Colorado.
