Sarah was born in 1860 and died in Denver, Colorado in 1914. She resides peacefully at Fairmont Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.

The McMurrys raised one child.
Of Note
Mayor McMurry was known as “the People’s Mayor,” because of his devotion to public welfare. By association, Mrs. McMurry was also very popular and well noted for her civic-mindedness.
