Her Story
Personal
Margaret was born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania on February 1, 1829, and died in New York, New York, March 20, 1889 (Age 60). She resides peacefully at Spring Hill Cemetery in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

Family
The Harpers resided at Curtis and 14th Street in Denver (they built the residence at that location - later sold to railroad magnate D. H. Moffat). They had three children.

Of Note
The family had a prominent hardware business at 16th and Wazee in Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Harper remained in Denver for many years after the death of Mayor Harper in 1875.
