Her Story
Personal
Catherine Jones Clayton was born in 1827 and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1905 (Age 78). She resides peacefully at Mount Moria Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Family
Mrs. Clayton moved to Denver in 1861 after she was married. Mayor and Mrs. Clayton had one child. The family residence was at 14th and Tremont in what was then downtown Denver.

Of Note
She had a sister (Mrs. Jones) who relocated with her from Pennsylvania. Catherine and her sister moved back to Pennsylvania shortly before her death in 1905.
